guided meditation mp3 files
Sitting and meditating sounds like it should be easy. Just close your eyes and do nothing, right? How hard can that be?
Meditating is more than nothing. After you learn how to meditate, you get better at it with practice, and the rewards come over time. It's no different than aything else in life. There's nothing estoric or weird about it.
Regular meditation is relaxing and calming. It helps relieve stress and tension. Whe you quick yourself and turn your attention inward, internal things shift. For the better. Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.
There's a format to these guided meditations. There are six different introductions with slightly different wording. Then there's a pause of 10, 15, or 20 minutes. Each sessions ends with the sound of 3 bells. My suggestion is to try all of the variations and use the one(s) you like. Try rotating them. Choose a time period that works for you. Sit for longer periods as you become more comfortable meditating
Find a peaceful quiet place, away from noise and distractions. Turn off your cell phone and your other gadgets. Get comfortable. Focus on your breath. Listen to the words and relax.
